St. Patrick's Day Contraction Match
Print all cards on cardstock, laminate and cut apart. Print response pages. If using color, print on cardstock and place in page protectors to be used with dry erase markers. Black and white can be printed for each student have a take home sheet.
To play as memory match game:
Place all rainbow cards face down on table/floor on left. Place all pot cards face down on right. Students take turns flipping one card from the rainbow pile and one card from the pot pile trying to find a match. Record matches on record sheet.
To play as self-correcting:
Place a matching sticker or star on the back of each matching pair. Place pot cards face up. Deal rainbow cards out to all players. Students take turns choosing a card from the pile that they think matches one of their rainbows. If correct, they keep it and record it on their record sheet. If it is not correct, they return I to the pile and wait for their next turn.
