This resource provides engaging St. Patrick's Day math centers for your learners to practice counting sets to 12. This packet has 5 Count and Clip Card activities. There are 12 clothespin clip cards for each activity. There is a set of pictures to count and a choice of three numerals printed on each clothespin clip card. Learners count the pictures in the set and clip a clothespin to the numeral that corresponds with the number of pictures in the set.
The St. Patrick’s Day graphics include leprechauns, pots of gold, shamrocks, Irish hats, and gold coins.
Print, laminate, and cut out the clothespin clip cards. You will need 12 clothespins for each set of cards.
Learners count the pictures and clip a clothespin on the correct numeral or they can use dry erase markers to circle the correct numeral. Put the cards and clips in zippered supply pouch for an easy to use and store Early Finisher activity or take home pack. Put the cards in a dollar store photo album and use a dry erase marker to make a write-on/wipe-off activity. You may opt to make these cards self-checking by writing the answer on the back or marking a dot on the back at the correct spot.
These cards help learners develop numeracy and support the Math Common Core Standards for Counting and Cardinality.
The graphics used in this packet are from My Cute Graphics.
