Are you looking for an easy to prep craft that will help you increase articulation trials with your students? This No Prep Lucky Rainbow Craft will work with any sound and will motivate your students to practice their speech sounds.

The color version of this craft can also be adapted, so you can use it in mixed groups. See the suggestions below in the description.

How to Use This Craft in Speech Therapy

Print the lucky rainbow craft template. Use dot markers with the craft to make a rainbow. As your student practices their target speech sound, they can make a dot on the rainbow. You will be able to get 40-50 productions while using this craft. Have your students judge their productions and pick three words that they produced their sound correctly. Have your students write in their words. Put on a speech bulletin board or send it home for additional practice.

You can also use mini erasers, markers, stickers, or stamps with this craft to help get those high trials.

A color version of this craft is available to use in therapy. Print the color template and laminate for durability. Use mini manipulatives to fill up the rainbow as your student works on their speech sounds or language targets.
Cut the rainbow colors and have students tap each rainbow as they say their speech sound, count syllables in words, name words in category groups, creating longer sentences or when practicing speech fluency strategies.

Set up an Articulation Center

Have this be a speech articulation center. Give your students a list of words or a sheet of pictures with your students' sounds. Instruct them to practice their speech sounds as they create their rainbow. While your students are completing this activity, you can work with other students in the group.
