What educators are saying
My students loved this so much! It was so exciting to have this craftivity to use after reading aloud How To Catch A Leprechaun.
Your resource is my new favorite way for students to make leprechaun traps!! Highly motivating for my kindergarten students!!
St. Patrick's Day Crafts: Your students will enjoy these fun St. Patrick’s Day activities! Students will make a leprechaun trap, write about how they would spend the day with a leprechaun and make a St. Patrick’s Day hat to wear. The activities included are:
- St. Patrick's Day Craft - Leprechaun Trap - Students will make a leprechaun trap to try to catch a leprechaun. They will color, cut and paste pictures onto a paper bag to create the trap. Please Note: This activity requires 5 1/8” x 10 5/8” standard sized paper lunch bags (you will need one bag for each student). You will also need gold wrapped candy such as Rolos, chocolate coins or Werther’s soft caramels which you will place in the traps for the students to find.
- St. Patrick's Day Writing Page – If you caught a leprechaun, how would you spend the day with your new friend? There are two versions of the writing page to choose from, one where students draw a picture and write about it and one where they just write.
- St. Patrick’s Day Hat to Wear - There are 2 options included for students to choose from!
