Description

Save big! Grab this reader for only $2 (along with two other great emergent readers for a steal!) This St. Patrick's Day emergent reader is now a part of our St. Patrick's Day Emergent Reader Bundle!

Finding emergent readers that deal with emotions and feelings is SO hard! So, we made one!

Our Leprechaun Feelings emergent readers introduces students to basic emotional states, and is a great jumping off point to discuss social/emotional development.

Emergent readers are perfect for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, ESL/ELL, and special ed. I also use them with my son who has autism. This little emergent reader will be perfect for your St. Patrick's Day Units!

The repetitive text reads "The leprechaun is happy." The other feelings these stories cover are sad, mad, worried, scared, silly, and sleepy. The illustrations are original and of course, match the text.

We've also included cover pages for the students to write their names.

Each page is slightly less than a half-sheet of paper, and there are
8 pages total, including the cover page.

There's a black and white version for students to color, and there's also a color version for your guided reading groups.

We hope this emergent reader has your students excited about learning their emotion words, and gaining confidence as new readers!

Please note: This is NOT an editable document. It is a PDF. You cannot change the wording of the story or font.

We also have a Gingerbread Man emergent reader! More emotions/feelings emergent readers to come...
