St. Patrick's Day Fluency Center

St. Patrick's Day activities that includes a mini book which can be used with your reading group, interactive journal printables, and a Sentence Shuffle Center can be set up as a literacy center or a file folder. It is a great activity for your early finishers!

SENTENCE SHUFFLE CENTER:

Students will shuffle the cards and divide the cards into three groups. Cards are grouped by the pattern of the frame around the word in the black and white version and the color of the frame in the colored version. Students will take one card from each group to make a sentence. Sentences can be real sentences or nonsense sentences. After making and reading sentences, students will choose 3 sentences to write on the assignment sheet.

--6 pages of sentence fluency cards - black & white version
--2 card shuffle sheets - one black and white, one colored version
--Directions for the center
--3 writing assignment sheets
