St. Patrick’s Day Glyph – Fractions Review
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your class with this fractions review glyph.
Skills reviewed with this activity are:
*Adding mixed numbers
*Changing between mixed numbers and improper fractions
Students will color the St. Patrick’s Day coloring page by solving various fraction problems. The answer students get will determine how they will color the picture. There are certain problems with only one correct answer, and others with more than one correct answer. Each problem is separated with a row of clovers. There are two different coloring pages available. One has a bear as the main character, the other has a dancing leprechaun.
You can use your students’ finished pages to identify those who understand concepts and those struggling by sorting pictures by how they are colored. For example, sorting by how they put their name on the back will tell you who understands adding fractions with a common denominator and who doesn’t. This will help you differentiate future lessons. Answers are included. Correct answers are highlighted and color-coded for those with multiple correct answers.
Designed to save you ink!! The colored title page is not included with the download.
