St. Patrick’s Day Game – This is a great game to play anytime during the month of March. It can be set up in a center for your students to play when they get done with their work early. It is also a wonderful game to help children practice their memory skills, as well as their visual discrimination skills.
I have included 10 matching pairs of shamrocks. Print out the shamrock cards on white cardstock, cut the pages evenly into fourths, and laminate them for added durability so they can be used year after year.
Use the appropriate number of cards for your age group and have the children try to make matches by turning over two cards at a time. Whoever turns over both of the gold lucky coins gets an additional turn! The child who has the most matches at the end wins the game!
I hope your class enjoys this St. Patrick’s Day game!
