These two activity sheets (worksheets) that are questions about St. Patrick’s Day. They look almost identical for those who have students with wandering eyes or to go over as practice and independent practice.
Students are to identify geometric figures (mainly simple polygons) from a definition. They will match their answer to the correct shamrock to find the answer to a question about St.Patrick's Day history. These are all simple polygons (squares, rectangles, etc and the circle. There is an additional cut-paste sheet that can be added to this activity if time allows. With this additional activity, students will cut and paste the correct example of that geometric figure with the correct definition on the activity page.
All of these are created by me and you will possibly find errors since I have not given this to students yet. If you do, please contact me. I can probably correct it pretty easily and send you a corrected copy back.
I think that these are worthwhile fun activities for St. Patrick’s Day. I hope that you enjoy them. You may make copies for YOUR classroom this year and in years to come, but you may not share this product with others.
