Luck of the Irish... St. Patrick's Day Math Fun!
This fun engaging math activity will get your students ready to analyze LUCKY items and graph them according. Students will also need to follow directions to determine how many items are listed and complete activities. These activities will get your students counting, tallying, adding, and subtracting in no time. All pages are for 8.5x11 copy paper. Looking to enlarge for the differentiated learner, with fine motor/gross motor skill, set your copy machine to 130% and use 12x18 paper, coloring will be so much easier.
Included in this download are two differentiated counting mats. Numbers to 5 AND Numbers to 10.
Coloring and Counting page:
Students will look at the color key and count the objects matching that color.
Students will graph each item they counted from the first page.
Addition and Subtraction Activities:
Students are required to count the items and then write the corresponding number from the first page to determine the answer. Also included are word problems.
Count coins up to 25 cents using Pennies, Nickels and Dimes.
This activity covers Common Core Standards for Measurement and Data grade K-2.
