Your little leprechauns will enjoy practicing addition sums to ten with this cute game for the month of March!
How to use this center game:
The game mat should be printed on cardstock and laminated so you can reuse it from year to year!
Students are given ten counters. (You can use 20 for older students or to challenge those that are ready!) You can use anything as counters~blocks, bears, beans,or something green or gold for St. Patty's Day! I found all green dark chocolate mint m&m's! Yum!
Students shake and toss (gently) the counters over the game mat. Print a recording sheet for each student. They count how many manipulatives landed on the mat and how many were tossed off the mat. Two columns are included for two games if time allows. Kids can play alone or take turns with a friend. There is no winner. Everyone wins when they learn!
