PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Materials you will need:
1 - 3.4 ounce box of instant pistachio pudding for each group of 7
students
Milk - enough for each student to have 1/4 cup
zip sandwich bags
dixie cups

Procedure:
- Give each student a sandwich bag with 1 tablespoon of pudding mix in it.
- Have students draw what it looks like. Discuss.
- Give each student a dixie cup with 1/4 cup milk.
- Pour milk into bag, seal, and squeeze/shake to "cook" the pudding.
- Have students draw what it looks like. Discuss.
- Students write a sentence about what they observed.

**The bag just looks like white powder to begin with. When the milk is added it turns green and you see the pistachios (gold nuggets). Have fun and enjoy the magical leprechaun pudding experiment.
