St. Patrick's Day Activity - Leprechaun Trap - Writing Activity
This St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun Trap activity will make the other classrooms green with envy! Your students become detectives in this writing-based activity. Valuable items have been stolen and the police think a Leprechaun is the culprit.
Students design a trap that they think will catch the Leprechaun. They will also write about why they think their trap will work as well as why it didn't. Since this is detective-themed, students will write about who or what they caught in the trap, instead.
OPTIONAL: This activity was originally inspired by the book, "How to Trap a Leprechaun," by Sue Fliess. There is an optional page about reading and discussing the book, but it is not necessary in order to do the writing and building activity.
Don't forget that you can earn TPT credits by reviewing your purchases. You can earn credit towards a future purchase AND help out a TPT seller at the same time.
Thank you for looking and have a happy St. Patrick's Day!
