Your students are going to LOVE this hands on activity for St. Patrick's Day. Let them design, build, and reflect on leprechaun traps.

Using "junk" from around their houses and the classroom, students build their own leprechaun trap. After constructing their trap, students must write a "How To" piece where they explain how to catch a leprechaun, including the directions for building their trap.

Perfect for celebrating St. Patrick's Day in the classroom.

Check out the preview for more of what is included.

  • Directions for the teacher
  • Parent note requesting donations of recycling/junk type items
  • How to writing paper (3 different types)
  • Blueprint page to plan traps
  • Illustration page of final leprechaun trap
  • Notes from the leprechaun

The parent note has spots where you can type the dates and teacher name using Adobe. Just save it to your computer and open the file in Adobe and type into the blue boxes.
