Product Description
This product compares and contrasts the stories The Night Before St. Patrick's Day by Natasha Wing and How to Catch a Leprechaun by Adam Wallace. It is a great addition to your literacy unit for this holiday. These stories integrate well with a leprechaun STEM project because both books feature leprechaun traps. There are more realistic traps in The Night Before St. Patrick's Day and more fantastical traps in How to Catch a Leprechaun. We are using this in our school as an activity on Friday after having spent two days on each story. I this is the first grade version that includes all of the differences and similarities that I found between the two books. My Kindergarten team is not using this version in order to save time on cutting and gluing - otherwise I believe this could be used in Kindergarten as well. I hope that you like it!
