Looking for a fun St. Patrick's Day activity or March math center? Simply print these cards and tape them around your room. Invite kids to join a "St. Patrick's Day scavenger hunt" as they roam around the room and practice their multiplication!
Cards look best when printed in color. They come 2 to a page and there are 30 total. Print them on cardstock and laminate them and keep them for years!
There are THREE ways to use this product!
1. Have students go up to each card and write their answer on their recording sheet. Students can then use their device to scan the QR code and get the answer immediately!
2. Have students go up to each card and use their recording sheet to solve and write their answers down. The student can turn in their recording sheet to YOU, so that you can check their level of understanding.
3. Have students to up to each card and use their recording sheet to solve and write their answers down. After they are done, they can check the answers THEMSELVES using the provided answer key.
Unfamiliar with QR codes? It's simple! Students can download a "free qr reader" app on their phone or classroom ipads. This process takes literally one minute. Then, students open the app and the app scans the QR barcode. Within two seconds, a popup window will come onto their phone or ipad with the text box saying the answer.
Note: The text box after scanning the QR code is small (but still easy to read). I have no control over the text size after scanning a QR code!
Students will LOVE being able to use technology and roam around the room checking their answers!
Have students work in 2's or 3's if your technology is limited, OR have the cards be a March math center that students can use one technology device and practice on their own time.
