This activity includes five puzzles.
Graphing from intercepts to solve a riddle.
Graphing two points and find the slope (rise/run and slope formula) to solve a riddle.
Solve equations to follow a maze to the "pot of gold."
Plot points on a coordinate grid to discover a hidden picture.
Use logic (or a system of equations) based on the given clues to find the ‘value assigned to symbols associated with StPatrick’s Day.
All five challenges require algebra skills providing the opportunity to either practice skills already taught or to introduce a new concept and challenge the students with their newly acquired math skill.
