If your caseload is anything like mine you have tons of mixed groups and not nearly enough materials to keep things new and fresh. My favorite way to do mixed groups is to make one game with lots of different targets that we can mix up and all play together. Memory is a quick and easy way to do that. Memory is a great game that practices turn taking, short term memory, cooperation, strategy, and that ever important winning/losing/honesty thing that my students always seem to have a problem with.
This pack contains a TON of St. Patrick’s Day fluency targets (easy onsets, light contacts, flexible rate, cancellations and visuals!) memory cards for a ton of different goals. Buy different packs for different goals and mix and match! Check out: Articulation, wh- questions, following directions, topic maintenance, vocabulary, and more!
Directions: Print double sided with a pattern on the back so that the cards aren’t see through. Students can either play one big game or separate games, the cards are easy to sort back out if you make the back pattern match the target! When students create their own sentences using the words on the cards it facilitates carryover
