This is what's included:
Monster Questions: (pages 3-9) 24 “who, what, when, where, why, and how” questions. Students collect coins for answering questions correctly. They can put the coins in their pots (page 3). Be sure to print enough of page 3 for all of the students in your group. Print one copy of 5-8; print 5 copies of page 4; and then 1/2 copies of page 9. The student with the most coins at the end of the game…wins! Real coins would be great for this activity.
Monster Directions: (pages 10-13)18 task cards to practice following directions. 6 --cards contain simple 2 step directions; 6 cards contain temporal directions with after/before; 6 cards with 3 step directions. Students earn points for completing the task card appropriately. Print and laminate the scoreboard to keep up with points.
Monster Categories: (pages 14-17)18 task cards to practice naming items within a group. If students complete the task, they may keep the card. Game cards are included which allow students to earn more cards or lose cards. The student with the most cards win the game.
Monster Concepts: (page 18) One worksheet to practice positional concepts. Students cut out and glue the correct word to the matching picture.
Game board – (Page 19) Use with any language or articulation activity.
