Do you use number bonds to teach your students addition? This set of 64 task cards uses number bonds (both in picture form and circle bonds to fill in digits) to teach writing addition sentences.
You get four sets of 16 task cards for addition facts to five. The first four pages (set 1) have one bottom number (addend) missing. The next four pages (set 2) have the top number (sum) in the bond missing. The next four pages (set 3) have both bottom numbers (addends) missing. The final four have blank number bonds. Choose the level you need for your students.
Choose the set(s) you wish to use. Print, laminate (or put in page protectors) and set out for centers or small groups. Students should count the objects in each picture, then fill in the empty spaces in the number bonds and the number sentences with the missing numbers. These can also be printed in b&w packets for individual seat work or extra practice.
