Description

Number Sense Flash | Top o' the morning!

I use this powerpoint with my whole class in kindergarten. The class sits in the front of the room on the carpet and goes through the number sense slides. When they see the little leprechaun, they jump up and quickly say “Top o' the morning!” This makes a great review of basic number sense fluency and is perfect for quick movement break or time filler for transitions.

This number sense flash game has over 100 slides of a variety ways to show numbers 1 - 20 fluently (dice, fingers, tallies, numbers, domino, tens blocks). Both a PDF and editable Powerpoint version are included!

Save and grab the Growing Bundle!

Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
