Target receptive language skills with this pack that includes:
- 90 direction following cards (18 each of the following: 1-step directions, 2-step directions, 3-step directions, before and after directions, and conditional directions)
**To use: A student selects the card and is read the direction on the card. The student must then follow the direction in the correct order.
- 24 identify the associated picture pairs
**Played like “memory”, a selection of association pairs are placed face down on a table. Students take turns flipping over two cards at one time and identifying if they “go together” or not. In this game, students are not expected to state how the items are related, as this packet is geared toward receptive language and identifying the pairs, but stating how the items go together would also be an option for this game.
- 30 identifying by attribute cards
**To use: Place 3-6 picture cards out on a table and then read a “related” attribute card to the student. Following the verbal description, the student must identify the picture that matches the explanation.
- 20 sequencing 3-step and 4-step event cards (10 of each)
**To use: After hearing the steps of a process read out of order, students must determine the logical order of events and place the cards in the correct order.
