### Description

Engage students with recipe activities for St. Patrick's Day! This resource features the Irish American traditional meal of corned beef and cabbage. Students will read the recipe, answer comprehension questions, and complete two real world math activities. The first is converting the servings of the recipe and the second is determining costs when buying ingredients needed.

Included is:

• Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner Recipe with 4 Multiple Choice and 1 Short Response question
• Math Activity- Students need to convert the amount of ingredients in the recipe from 8 servings to 4 servings.
• Math Activity; Students need to calculate the cost of ingredients with the price list given.
• Answer Keys for all! :-)

This can be used for a reading center, math center, for morning work, homework, etc!

Students can even take home the recipe and use at home with their family.

Math skills include division of fractions, multiplication of decimals, addition of decimals, and rounding decimals.
