Math Centers:
Shamrocks and Rainbows Sums of Ten - Students manipulate shamrock and rainbow chips in a festive Ten-Frame to find different ways to make sums of the.
Leprechaun Domino Fact Families - Students place their dominos on a leprechaun work-mat and find the parts and whole. They then record their fact family problems.
Shamrock Find the Missing Part - Students use a Part-Part- Whole work-mat to find the missing addend. They then record the fact family addition and subtraction sentences.
St. Patrick's Day Place Value-Students will match numbers to their expanded form and base-ten blocks.
Pots O'Gold Comparing Numbers - Students will compair numbers using a work-mat, number flashcards, and greater than, less than, or equal to signs.
Leprechaun Art and Math Center - This center comes with recording sheets of two levels of difficulty and a number bond version. One for counting the gold and one for creating fact families/a number bond out of the gold and silver coins.
Most of the literacy activities are extensions based on read alouds. Many of the activities can be made into class-made books and are accompanied by class-made book covers.
