How Does This Challenge Work?
The premise of the challenge is this: Some leprechauns left Luck Island to make some mischief, but Lucky the Leprechaun needs them to come back for their St. Paddy’s Day party. The only way to get them to come back is to say their name and show them some gold so they can trust you. Their names are coded, so students must work together to crack the code and figure out the leprechaun’s name. Then, students must use the materials Lucky provided (tape and coins) to make a raft that will carry the leprechaun back to Luck Island in time for the party.
Students will ONLY use the gold coins and tape to make the raft.
