Product Description
Once students understand how to identify subjects from predicates, the next step is to identify simple from compound. This activity is meant to help students identify simple subjects from compound subjects.

Two ways to use this:
1. Use under the document camera for the whole class or as a small instructional group or partners (Differentiation). Have students sort each shamrock into simple subjects or compound subjects.
2. Use the recording sheet and have students write either SS or CS on the line with the corresponding number that matches the numbered shamrock.
