Just in time for St. Patrick's Day fun! Here's an addition BUMP game that's perfect for a center or station! It's easy prep and great for basic addition fact practice!
Materials needed to play:
For each pair of students, provide 1 BUMP board, 2 dice, and 2 different color/type of playing piece with 10 of each piece. You can use linking/unifix cubes, 2-sided counters, pennies, plastic gold coins, etc. I am using the "gold" coins from Dollar Tree - one player will use the shamrock side and the other player will use the words side.
Directions for play are included!
I recommend laminating the game board if you plan to use it repeatedly, otherwise you could just slip it into a plastic page protector.
This is a great game for students to practice mental math with addition fluency within 12. Kindergarten students can be scaffolded by giving them objects to count out to add.
Have fun! May the luck o' the Irish be with ya!
