Move over Leprechaun! This time the KIDS found the gold and dove right in! Add some fun to your writing instruction and get a cute display! Your kids will LOVE this writing craft!
I included two templates both available in primary lines and intermediate. One template has the prompt “If I found a pot of gold…” and the second does not have a title. Also included are 2 brainstorming pages. One is blank and one says “If I found a pot of gold…”.
The patterns needed for the kid diving into the pot of gold craft. You can use them as tracers or copy on construction paper. You can play with the colors of the pants, shoes, and pot as seen on the cover or in the preview. Choose what you think is cute OR what colors of paper that you already have in the cabinet! I do like to do the boys a different color than the girls. It makes the display that much more attractive! I made a few suggestions, but the possibilities are endless! **Teacher Tip: Have your students glue the craft so that the lined sides where they cut face the back. This will hide the cutting imperfections little hands sometimes make!**
Ideas for colors:
Shoe color : black, gray, brown, or can be bright colors! The girl shoes are purple on the cover!
Pants-blue, red, pink, purple, or what you have in the cabinet!
Pot-black or green
I truly hope that this product helps you and your students! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
