**Check Out the Preview to See the Pages of these St. Patrick's Day Flip Books**
I decided to create these flip books as a way to make St. Patrick’s Day more than just a day to wear green. I am asking my students to make these flip books for a parent, grandparent, guardian or someone else who they feel lucky to have in their life. These flip books will make an excellent hallway or bulletin board display especially since there are 3 different designs to choose from. You can also send them home for a great student made gift. It’s sure to be a hit with parents and a great keepsake. They will also fit in an interactive notebook.
You will need 3 sheets of 8.5 by 11 paper for each book. Its possible that a student who wants to write more may need additional pages which may need to be copied.
On the activity pages students are asked to:
Page 1: Color the cover page.
Page 2: Write a dedication to the person who they will give the flip book to. (I would show examples and ask students to state a reason for the dedication)
Page 3: Fill in 5 four-leaf-clovers with traits about the person they are giving the flip book to. I put up a list of character traits for students to choose from. There are lots of character trait lists for free on Teacher’s Pay Teachers.
Page 4: L-U-C-K-Y Acrostic poem page.
Page 5: Write about a Magical Memory of the person they will give the flip book to.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
