All you have to do is print, and you're ready to go! There are eight different St. Patrick's Day activities in this pack that offer a little extra excitement for our upper elementary students on St. Patrick's Day.
There are reading, writing, math, social studies, and science activities.
-Pg. 3-Fiction passage with comprehension questions
-Pg. 4-Prefix and suffix activity where students fill in rows of a rainbow using words with given prefixes and suffixes
-Pg. 5-Students write a story about a leprechaun. They have to use a spinner to determine the leprechaun's character trait and the setting of their story.
-Pg. 6-Students brainstorm words that begin with the letters G-O-L-D that are nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs.
-Pg. 7-Students will design a leprechaun village on grid paper. They will make their design by creating buildings with given measurements of area and perimeter
-Pg. 8-This is the paper version of my Draw a Story Problem task cards. Students will spin an operation, setting, and number. Then they must use that information to write a word problem using that operation, setting, and number. This page includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
-Pg. 9-This is the addition and subtraction version of page 8.
-Pg. 10-Cardinal and intermediate directions worksheet
-Pg. 11-Students will be able to create a liquid rainbow with this density of different liquids experiment-this is the only activity that requires a bit of preparation.
