All students love cereal, and Lucky Charms is no exception! To include your young learners in the fun, consider this graphing center that uses the marshmallows from this popular cereal! Students get a handful of the cereal and separate the marshmallows onto the colorful (included) sorting mat. They then count each of the 8 different shapes, make tally's on the recording sheet and graph their results. There is also a sheet requiring the students to draw the shape they had the most, least, etc.. Finally, as a bonus, I've included 3 writing printables, asking the students to draw an illustration and write about their favorite marshmallow shape, if they could invent a new shape, and if they were a Lucky Charms Marshmallow. This is a perfect supplement to your St. Patrick's Day Centers and Activities to engage your young learners and have a treat at the same time!
