Product Description
This slideshow provides an entire unit of instruction on how actors should move on stage. The slideshow covers all the information students will need to speak the "lingo" of the theatre and understand the theories behind stage movement. Topics include: areas of the stage, body positions, levels, planes, and aspects of blocking. Assessments are provided at the start and end of the unit in the form of "Curtain Up" and "Curtain Call" questions and student handouts have been designed to work hand in hand with the material in the slideshow. The unit culminates in an "Encore Activity", which gives students a chance to use their new knowledge to create drama in the classroom!
