This activity was signed as a multi-day warm-up activity, but can be used as a stand-alone activity, as well. This activity includes an excerpt from the Declaration of Rights put forth by the Stamp Act Congress, and asks students to identify the author, audience, time, place, purpose, and meaning of the document. It also asks the students to respond to two interpretation writing prompts based on the document.
