Stamp Sentences: Sight Word Rebus Sentences is an activity designed to allow pre-k and kindergarten students to have fun while practicing important literacy skills. This activity is designed to be completed with picture rubber stamps, turning simple sight word sentences into rebus sentences. By copying each sentence and completing it with various stamps, emergent readers have lots of opportunities to practice reading and writing their sight words. In addition, each worksheet has one scrambled cut and glue sentence for additional reading practice! This activity is great for practicing reading with one-to-one matching, sight word recognition, and printing. These printables are useful for small groups, morning work, or literacy centers. No rubber stamps? Don’t fret! I have also included a page of cut-and-glue labeled pictures that can used in place of rubber stamps.
