Use this resource to discuss the difference between THICK (search and think) and THIN (right there!) questions with your students.
After reading Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon!, Students answer comprehension questions from the story. Then, students sort the questions as either THICK (questions that require text evidence and promote discussion) or THIN (who, what, where, when or yes/no questions).
