Here are 2 rubrics (one standard, and one differentiated), I created for students to use when they are doing partner work or group work. It's a way for them to have accountability and responsibility for themselves. I usually have them take it out when we do "Turn-and-Talk," sessions. At the end of the classroom discussion, I have them close their eyes, put their heads down, and use their fingers to show me the score they would give themselves based on the rubric (1-4). I keep a record of how many 1's, 2's, 3's, and/our 4's there are; I will even ask a group that rated themselves 2 or below, "What will you do differently next time?"
