Standard Form to Slope-Intercept Form Activity
7 equations of lines written in standard form are written on 8 arrow pieces. The student converts from standard form to slope-intercept form and finds the correct answer match in the next arrow piece. When correct, the activity makes one large arrow (wider than a desk width). Teacher can quickly check because small letters at the bottom of each piece spell "Euclid" if pieces are in correct order. Pieces should be run off on card stock and cut out. Put students to work in pairs on one arrow to save time (and put desks together in pairs so that arrow will fit!).
