This is a fun activity for the student to practice converting from Standard Form to Slope-Intercept Form (of a line). TEKS Aligned: A12E
The student is given a starting question and 16 rectangles to cut out. The top of the rectangle has the answer to the question and the bottom of the rectangle contains the next equation to convert. Some answers are written like y = mx + b and some are written y = b - mx to keep students on their toes. The questions are similar to make the activity more challenging. In addition, there are 5 extra rectangles that won't be used.
Directions for the teacher, ways to differentiate and key included. Have fun!
