What a better way to learn standard and expanded form other than repetition? While repetition sounds boring all these worksheets have been designed in such way that it seems as if they are not doing the same thing over again.
These worksheets can also be used as a supplement while solving math problems.
Pg.1: Fill in the blanks to complete the expanded form.
Pg. 2: Read the questions and choose best answer from multiple choices.
Pg. 3: Students will break down big numbers by filling in the blanks for expanded form.
Pg. 4-5: Students will break down big numbers by filling in the blanks for expanded form.
Pg. 6-7: Students will look at expanded forms and write them in standard forms.
Pg.8: Roll-a-Dice and write the standard form & expanded form.
Pg.9-10: Three different columns. One showing a 4 digit number, second column shows thousands, hundreds, tens & ones which the student will have to fill out given the number on the first column. On the third column they write the expanded form.
Pg. 11-12: Expanded form is shown and the student will pick answer among multiple choices.
Pg. 13-14: Expanded forms need to be written in standard forms. Bottom half of the page standard form needs to be written in expanded form.
Pg. 15-17: Three different columns. One showing a 4 digit number, second column student needs to write expanded forms. On the third column they write down the number shown on the first column.
Pg. 18-19: 3 digit number is shown and will need to write down expanded form.
Pg. 20-21: A 4 digit number is shown on top page. The student will write it in word form, expanded notation, and draw it (base 10 blocks).
Pg. 22-26: A 4 digit number is shown on top page. The student will write it in word form, expanded notation and pictorial representation.
Pg. 27-28: The teachers gets to pick a number and the student writes it on top page. The student will write it in word form, expanded notation, and draw it (base 10 blocks).
Pg. 29-32: The teachers gets to pick a number and the student writes it on top page. The student will write it in word form, expanded notation, group value of each number & pictorial representation.
