Preparing for the Stressful and Busy Standardized Testing Season? Need to motivate students, review, redecorate your room, and even keep kids engaged during downtime? Want to keep up the growth mindset during state testing? This Surviving the Standardized Testing Season Pack is designed just for YOU - any subject!! All the activities, posters, lessons, etc. are all tied to the theme: Keep Calm and Rock the Test!!

When I think of the time of year when standardized testing cranks up, I think of needing to motivate students while keeping them calm, taking down content-specific posters and replacing them with motivational ones, reviewing key terms and skills for test prep, offering a small gift, and the list goes on. That doesn't even include what to do with students during downtime, especially if your school admin doesn't approve multiple movie days in a row!

The purpose of this pack is to provide you with as much material and supplies as possible with a fun theme to grab your teens' attention long enough for you and them to survive the testing season. You'll already be stressed to the max worrying about those scores, so with this pack, at the least the worry of your plans - and more - will be taken care of!

-- Craftivity to kick off the theme and testing week

-- four customizable, ready-made game templates for review for any subject

-- Five motivational classroom posters, five testing tip posters, and five videos (links from youtube) for daily bell ringers

-- a daily motivation and reflection journal

-- six no prep creative project-based activities for downtime

-- a movie guide for Lemonade Mouth, PG (movie not included), which is a cute movie where the protagonists "band" together to overcome bullying to rock their school

-- quick info text lesson with questions for any subject on the power of positive thinking

This pack includes up to 1 week of materials depending on your class periods and how you use what's included. **Some assembly required, but mostly easy prep :)!
