My district recently changed to Standards Based grading. I needed a way to keep track of a lot of information. Had each student, met each standard on most assignments?
I created this spreadsheet to track three assignments per standard assessed.
During my first two quarters of Standards Based grading, I printed one of these sheets for each subject and kept them in a binder similar to a traditional paper/pencil gradebook.
By third quarter I was much more comfortable with the system and I typed my information right into the spreadsheet.
To use this product you will need to:
1. Copy and paste your district's standards into the top. Click on the box you want the standard in, and paste into the text bar at the top of the page.
2. Enter your class list.
3. Enter each assignment that you are assessing under the appropriate standard.
4. Enter grades/scores.
This spreadsheet is editable so you can make any adjustments you like. The file includes the blank spreadsheet and a sample spreadsheet with sample items filled in with red type.
