This is a Word document that explains a version of Standards-Based Grading that I use in my foreign language classroom. The standards I have created align with the ACTFL Standards as well as their Proficiency Guidelines.
The document includes a summary of the Standards for Spanish 1 and 2 as well as the system I use to determine quarter and semester grades. Furthermore, I provide ideas for how to assess each standard. Though my standards are for my Spanish class, they are applicable to all languages, but are written for lower levels.
