Students make revisions to their write as part of the writing process. This rubric allows students and teachers to evaluate student's understanding of the revision process. The rubric is standards based and has a "approaching" to "exceeding" scale for performance. This can be used anytime the teacher offers feedback with writing and requires changes to be made. Students meet the standard if they are making all of the recommended changes. Students exceed the standard if they are making their own changes in addition to the teacher's recommendation.
