I designed this recording sheet for my fourth grade students to practice this CRA math task. This activity contains two fraction tasks.
In the first task, students have to compare three fractions and determine who has the bigger piece of a candy bar. Then they will draw a model and explain in words who has the bigger piece.
In the second task, students will then need to determine how much more chocolate two of the characters in the problem will need in order to have the same amount as the third. Students will draw a visual and then write an equation.
There is a rubric and answer key provided for both tasks.
