One of my FAVORITE rewards to give students! I used this the entire year in my music room and students K-5 looked forward to receiving these! (see thumbnails for preview)
Print on regular 8.5x11 paper or cardstock in black and white and cut in half.
At the end of every music class (last 5 minutes), I choose anywhere from 1-5 students based on the class's behavior and call them up to receive their reward. Everyone does a short spirit clap for each person.
Students then earn the opportunity to decorate these and bring them back to be placed on the Star Student Wall. If the student brings it back (or chooses to leave it with me undecorated), it goes on the wall under the appropriate grade level. Then, at the end of every week for one semester, I keep a simple tally on a laminated star I have on the wall of how many each grade level has earned. They LOVE the competition and get really upset when their grade level is losing! So cute! The grade level with the most Star Student sheets gets a special party in their individual music classes once per semester. Simple reward system and REALLY works to manage behavior.
One page for girls, one page for boys.
