This resource has everything you need to celebrate a Star Student of the Week in your classroom, down to printables, bulletin board decor, and a parent letter. Best of all, you'll be provided a Powerpoint file of the resource to type your own information on awards, letters, etc.!
The activities are broken down into one for each day of the week:
Monday: Student tells about themselves, using the bulletin board about them (easy board!)
Tuesday: Write the Star a letter and make into a special keepsake for the Star to take home. The Star keeps busy making a cover for their keepsake book.
Wednesday: Unique Names Make a Word Printable using the Star's name. The Star keeps busy making a page for a unique names class book.
Thursday: My Favorite Book Read Aloud...Students read their favorite book or you read it aloud to the students. There is a story element printable included for the class to do after the special read aloud.
Friday: My Hidden Talent...Students share something they can do, have learned, or are proud of. Can be as simple as being able to whistle.
Present the student with a crown they can color during any other off time for them during the week. There is also an All About Me half-page book for them to complete when the other students are busy doing activities for them. Finally, round out the celebration with a certificate, marking the end of their week-long stardom!
The resource includes a PDF you can print off and write in information and a Powerpoint file you can add text boxes to.
