Product Description
In my middle school chorus classroom, we study a different composer every month. When we were looking at John Williams, I wanted to do an activity in which the students could listen to the music of Star Wars (which most of them LOVE) while still making sure that they were paying attention. I created this activity using two different youtube links - one is for a video of John Williams conducting the Imperial March, and the other is for a video by the Piano Guys doing a Star Wars medley. The kids LOVED it! We also discussed what we liked or didn't like as a class after they turned in their papers.

I made sure to tell the students that if they didn't know the name of the "special guest" in the second video (Chewbacca!), then they could describe what he looks like.

I hope your students enjoy this listening activity as much as mine did :)
