PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Four page lab that has students exploring how this reaction changes with temperature and concentration. Students construct a plot of temperature vs. reaction time. They also plot of concentration vs. reaction time. Here are three questions form the lab:


3. Did you make any other observations, other than time, while performing the reactions in Part B?




4. Make a legitimate hypothesis as to what would happen if you continued heating the solutions past 40ºC.






5. Consider the reaction of A + B  C. If at time t = 0.0s the concentration of C = 0.050 M and after 30.0s have passed (t = 30.0s) the concentration of C = 0.095 M, what is the overall rate of reaction? Use appropriate units.
