Description

Trying to squeeze some social skills and some fun into an already packed school day?

Why use Starring Kindness Freebie? It’s tough to find time to teach social skills in the classroom, yet these skills are essential for students to be successful. These short plays give the children the opportunity to think about and discuss important social skills while practicing reading skills at the same time!

How it works: Kids LOVE Reader's Theater, and this short play has a twist: the audience and the actors are encouraged to create the ending themselves, using kindness as their goal.

What’s included: The situation is one to which students can definitely relate: a missing crayon, and gives students an opportunity to solve the problem with kindness.
