What educators are saying

Teaching space is always hard because it is hard to do any hands on activities. This is a nice way to practice some of the facts about stars and light.
Great STEM activity! This was a fun way to end our space unit. Easy to follow directions! Very engaging, my gifted 2nd grade class loved it.

This STEM project explores how STARS can appear different in the night sky based on how far they are from the Earth! You provide materials for students to design and try their own stars in a 1/2 hour time limit. This STEM's goal is to explore properties of stars, their brilliance, and how this is affected by their distance from the Earth. All the materials you need for documenting student progress are found inside!
